Our philosophy is built on four profound, yet simple beliefs that drive our consultants to unconceal what is possible for each client.
Philosophy
- Each client situation is unique.
- Performance is an unbounded continuum.
- Receivables Management is a profit center.
- Committed leaders uncover the greatest possibilities.
It is from this philosophy that Aurum Consultants assess each phase of the credit life cycle in the context of the six imperatives for world class receivables management, which are strategy, engagement, customer relationship management, analytics, technology and performance management. With our proprietary approach, Aurum Consultants can deliver a strategic assessment that will delineate what is possible for each client’s situation.
Business Consulting
As management consultants, we help solve problems and create opportunity. This includes: new and developing business, product/service planning, marketing/account acquisition, customer relationship management, collections, systems information, mergers/acquisitions and organization structure. The best way to begin is having us perform a situation analysis, where we verify the potential benefits and cost of improving the management of risk and reward.
Changes we recommend may include modifying product/service offerings and solicitations, improving and streamlining organization, and/or financial review. Usually improvements are based upon successful implementation of strategy, systems information and management education programs.
We then assist you with implementation of our recommendations to whatever degree is necessary to assure your success. We differ from vendors of products and services in that, as independent problem solvers, we do not limit your options to a particular set of solutions.
Management Information Systems
We begin by helping you define your MIS requirements. We then work with your internal MIS people to determine which of these requirements are best satisfied by them, and which are better satisfied by us. Typically, we are most helpful in situations where the needed MIS is statistical in nature, or where the internal MIS group is too backlogged to provide what is needed in a timely manner. This service has bridged an important gap for many of our clients.
